Biology Help, When a neuron is stimulated, positively charged sodium ions move outside the axon. true or false?

this is for my 10th grade biologyBiology Help, When a neuron is stimulated, positively charged sodium ions move outside the axon. true or false?
No, Sodium (Na+) ions move into the neuron while pottasium (K-) ions move out of the neuron. This is called depolarization and a wave of depolarization is called action potential.

Wow you must be in a very good school or something, i'm doing my IGCSEs and this is definitely NOT in the curriculum.Biology Help, When a neuron is stimulated, positively charged sodium ions move outside the axon. true or false?
False. There is a net influx of sodium ions during an action potential, and a net efflux of potassium ions.
